The Guard of Honour Contingent at Singapore’s National Day Parade is reserved by the Best Combat Unit for the preceding year. This contingent has earned the honour of marching into the parade square donning their No.1 Dress Uniform.
Singapore’s Commandos are an elite fighting force, made up of only one battalion, the 1st Commando Battalion (1 CDO), specialising in Strike and Reconnaissance missions.
