As 2017 is fast-approaching its end, we just wanted to take a bit more time to share some personal thoughts with all you guys.
2017 has been an awesome and exciting year for Miniature Stories.
Humble Beginnings and Cherished Memories
We first introduced our little soldier figurines in Oct last year, and we did not expect that there would be so many of you who shared our passion of collecting and preserving memories of the Singapore Army and National Service through collectibles and keepsakes.

It has been a roller coaster of a year for us with so many ups and downs – a cocktail of moments of self-doubt, mixed in with flashes of exhilaration and pride as we released new figurines and saw collectors walk away with smiles on their faces and a glint in their eyes. It truly made all the hard work and sacrifices worth it!
In the course of this business, it has been our pleasure and privilege to have gotten to know some of you on a more personal level, and to share in the stories that each of you have. You guys know who you are, and you all have a special place in our hearts!

A Family Affair
As a married couple running Miniature Stories together, the year also brought us many new experiences as husband and wife. During our most challenging moments, we saw the best and the worst in each other, and we grew to appreciate strengths in each other that we never realised before.

We also need to specially thank our parents who believed in us, and tirelessly supported us on this journey – from driving us to fairs and helping out at the stall, to helping us to run errands and prepare snacks for the road to ensure we didn’t go hungry.

What’s Next
We look forward to an exciting 2018 and we have many exciting plans in store. Yes, it’s long overdue, but we have been working and reworking our first vehicle, the SM1 Tank, to perfect it, and we can’t wait to share it with you guys early next year.. We promise it will be worth the wait!
